9th Tomie Ohtake AkzoNobel Architecture Award Finalist: Terminal and Urban Park in São Luís

Tomie Ohtake AkzoNobel Architecture Award seeks to map and recognize contemporary architectural productions that encompass innovative ways of thinking, producing, transmitting, and transforming spatialities. In its 9th edition, 10 projects were selected in the professional category among 190 entries from 17 Brazilian states, in addition to 3 academic projects.

The Terminal and Urban Park, which is part of the Historic Center Revitalization Program of the Municipal Government of São Luís with financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (BID), was selected by the jury for its impact on the redesign of a public space and urban interventions.

The selected projects will be part of an exhibition at the headquarters of Tomie Ohtake Institute in São Paulo from May 9th to July 2nd, 2023, where three of the selected works will be awarded.
