Recently an article about the Renovation of Capivari State Park developed by Natureza Urbana was published in one of the most influential architecture magazines in Brazil. For 44 years, the PROJETO Magazine has brought together the main trends and references for architecture professionals with regular publications on projects, debates, interviews, and news.
Located in one of the main tourist hubs in Campos do Jordão-SP, Capivari Park has been going through renovation works made possible by a public-private partnership of the Government of the State of São Paulo for the concession of park operations to EcoJordão.
The renovation project of the existing facilities and proposition of new equipment was carried out by Natureza Urbana between 2018 and 2019, including feasibility studies and a master plan for urban interventions, as well as preliminary studies up to executive projects and construction follow-up. The work was focused on the area’s landscape potential, improving its access and flows, the capacity to host large events in its open spaces and the new stage, as well as strengthening the relationship with the Morro do Elefante, connected through a new cable car.
